Build an original research project using Data Science and AI, present and defend your findings at an academic conference, and compete in scholarly categories, meeting Ivy League expectations. Top teams and projects are recognized with sponsored awards.

Participants gain hands-on research, competition, conference presentation, and publication experience valued in highly selective and Ivy League university applications. All participating teams’ abstracts are published in the open-access STEM Fellowship Journal (SFJ) as conference proceedings under a shared DOI. Participants may also choose to submit their full project reports for publication in the STEM Fellowship Journal.

Recognizing Digital Influencers of the Future who demonstrate leadership, creativity, and positive impact in digital spaces.

Nominate a Canadian student or team whose thoughtful use of technology and AI addresses real-world challenges, strengthens communities, and advances the public good. Selected participants receive recognition for their digital leadership, innovation, and impact.

Offers a hands-on university lab experience at participating Canadian universities for underrepresented youth, where participants build practical skills, confidence, and exposure to research.

During March break, participants take part in activities such as tours of first-class research facilities, introductions to basic laboratory techniques and experiments using state-of-the-art equipment, shadowing lab personnel, and attending lab meetings, seminars, and faculty presentations.
