DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP Leadership AWARD

The Three Pillars
Innovation & Impact
Students use technology, especially emerging tools like AI, to address real-world problems and create meaningful, positive change. This pillar highlights youth who design solutions, lead projects, or apply digital tools in ways that benefit their schools, communities, or the broader public. Creativity, initiative, and innovation for social good are at the heart of this category.
Digital Inclusion & Accessibility
This pillar recognizes students who work to make digital spaces safer, more inclusive, and more equitable. Projects may focus on bridging digital divides, supporting vulnerable groups, and promoting online safety. Students champion digital environments where everyone can participate fully and with confidence.
Knowledge & Tech Skills
This category celebrates students who demonstrate strong digital literacy and technical skills. It includes youth who share their expertise and who model Canadian citizenship both online and offline. Leadership through knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and problem-solving defines this pillar.
